The Student Administration System is UConn’s primary system for managing student records and academic information. Faculty advisors use the Student Administration System to view advisees, monitor academic progress, review degree requirements, approve graduation plans, and complete other advising tasks.

The [UConn Knowledge Base](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10758194553/Student+Administration+System) provides detailed documentation for the Student Administration System. Below are links to commonly used knowledge base articles on features for advisors.

## [View Your Advisees](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10776805931/Viewing+Advisee+Details)

Student Administration System allows faculty advisors to view their assigned advisees and access student information, including academic records, degree progress, enrollment, and other advising tools.

### [View Information for Other Students](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10776805948/Viewing+Data+for+Other+Students)

You may occasionally advise or speak with a student who is not assigned to you. The Student Administration System allows faculty to view academic information for those students when appropriate. Students considering a change of major or school should also be referred to the CLAS Academic Services Center for additional advising.

## [View Enrollment Appointment Times](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10776805937/Viewing+Enrollment+Appointments)

A student’s enrollment appointment determines the first date and time they may register for classes. Advisors can view this information through the student’s record in the Student Administration System.

## [Review Degree Progress](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10864459934/Viewing+Standard+Advisement+Reports+(Advisors))

The Standard Advisement Report tracks a student’s progress toward degree requirements and is one of the primary tools used during advising appointments. The report assumes courses currently in progress will be completed successfully and applies them toward outstanding requirements.

## [View Unofficial Transcripts](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10776805946/Viewing+Unofficial+Transcripts)

The Student Administration System provides access to unofficial transcripts, which may be helpful when reviewing a student’s academic history.

## [Approve Final Plans of Study](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/10776806318/Reviewing+a+Preliminary+or+Final+Plan+of+Study)

Students who are preparing to graduate must submit a Final Plan of Study through the Student Administration System. As the assigned advisor, you will receive an email when a student submits a plan and will be asked to approve, deny, or return it for revision. You can also access pending plans directly in the Student Administration System.

## [Enrollment Change Form (eForm)](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/SAS/27890221151/Enrollment+Change+Form+(eForm))

After the 10th day of the semester (census date), students must submit an Enrollment Change Form in the Student Administration System. Depending on the request, faculty advisors may be included in the approval workflow.

Common requests include:

- Withdraw from a course
- Add an independent study, research, or internship
- Add a course after registration
- Request a time conflict
- Audit a course
- Repeat a course for a third time
- Swap course sections
- Adjust credits
- Add or revise a project title
- Elect or remove the pass/fail grading option
