[UConn's brand standards](https://brand.uconn.edu/) help ensure the University is presented consistently across all communications. Faculty, staff, students, and units are expected to follow these standards when creating websites, publications, social media, presentations, signage, and other communications on behalf of UConn.

The CLAS Communications Office can help you understand and apply the UConn brand standards and can:

- Provide official UConn and CLAS wordmarks
- Create personalized wordmarks for approved departments, programs, centers, and institutes
- Answer questions about brand guidelines, including logo usage, websites, social media, and other topics

## Editorial Style Guide

Follow [UConn's Editorial Guidelines](https://brand.uconn.edu/resources-tools/editorial-guidelines/) to ensure your written communications are clear, consistent, and professional. UConn follows the [Associated Press (AP) Stylebook](https://www.apstylebook.com/) along with the UConn style guide, which highlights University-specific conventions and clarifies commonly used AP style rules.

**Tip: **UConn is not an acronym. Write it as UConn in text, headlines, email signatures, and other materials, not UCONN.
