## University Accounts

Most University funds are managed through the [Kuali Financial System (KFS)](https://kb.uconn.edu/space/FPB/10868424889/Kuali+Financials), UConn’s central financial system. The Business Center provides departments and account supervisors with regular financial reports and can answer questions about University accounts, spending, and balances.

### UConn Foundation Accounts

Some departments and faculty also manage accounts through the UConn Foundation, which operates separately from the University’s financial system. While the Foundation oversees these accounts, the CLAS Business Center can assist with reimbursements, spending plans, and coordinating with Foundation staff.

## Financial Reports

The Business Center distributes financial reports to department administrators and faculty who serve as account supervisors.

- Department Reports: Department administrators receive weekly reports summarizing departmental account activity and balances.

- Faculty Reports: Faculty account supervisors receive biweekly reports for active accounts with current fiscal year activity.

Review these reports regularly to monitor account activity and help ensure appropriate stewardship of University resources.
