[CLAS Grant Management Services](https://facultystaff.clas.uconn.edu/portal/124?createRequest=true&portalId=179&requestTypeId=12575?autoLogin=true) continues to support researchers after their award is secured by providing guidance on financial management, compliance, and reporting requirements. 

## Account Setup and Management 

CLAS GMS works with principal investigators (PIs) to set up their accounts. Reports help PIs plan for the future through account forecasting, analysis, and maintenance. We also liaise with faculty, <u>[UConn Sponsored Program Services](https://ovpr.uconn.edu/services/sps/)</u>, and sponsors to help with effort reporting on grants. 

## Closeout 

CLAS GMS and Sponsored Program Services work with the principal investigator to ensure that all expenditures have been posted and that all agency-specific and University requirements have been met.
